The dye penetrant method is a non-destructive test for metallic and non-metallic (non-porous) surfaces.

It is ideal for detecting cracks, fissures, welding defects, and other flaws in castings, forgings, pressure vessels, or any area subjected to high stress. These products are free of halogenated compounds.

The Trytech penetrant testing kit complies with application methods A and C according to ASTM E-1417, as well as the requirements of ASM-2644, ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section V, and ASTM E-1418.
